Zum 22. Mal wird Hamburg zum Treffpunkt für die Theatergeneration der Zukunft: Vom 27. bis 31. Mai 2026 zeigt das Körber Studio Junge Regie Inszenierungen von Studierenden der deutschsprachigen Regiestudiengänge, die von den Hochschulen für das Festival nominiert wurden.
Als Laboratorium für neue Theaterformen präsentiert das Festival die Vielfalt an Themen und ästhetischen Zugängen der teilnehmenden jungen Theaterschaffenden. An fünf Festivaltagen stehen im Festivalzentrum im Thalia in der Gaußstraße und in der Theaterakademie am Wiesendamm 13 Inszenierungen auf dem Programm. Darunter eine Arbeit der internationalen Gasthochschule, der Faculty of Dramatic Arts der Universität Belgrad, Serbien.
Das Körber Studio Junge Regie ist ein Gemeinschaftsprojekt des Thalia Theaters, der Körber-Stiftung und der Theaterakademie Hamburg unter der Schirmherrschaft des Deutschen Bühnenvereins.

Content-Notes: Thematisierung und explizite Benennung von sexualisierter, körperlicher und seelischer Gewalt, Kindesmissbrauch und Mord auf sprachlicher Ebene. Es kommt Nebel zum Einsatz.
Wir treffen uns in Sirat – jenem Ort, an dem Menschen laut islamischer Vorstellung nach dem Tod für ihr Handeln auf der Erde Rechenschaft ablegen. Dort entscheidet sich, ob ein Mensch ins Paradies oder in die Hölle gelangt. Der einzige Moment vielleicht, in dem wir Gott tatsächlich begegnen – und die einzige Gelegenheit, ihn mit dem zu konfrontieren, was auf der Erde in seinem Namen geschieht. Doch inwiefern steckt Frauenhass in der Religion selbst – oder wird sie zu diesem Zwecke instrumentalisiert? Wir bringen die Geschichten von Frauen mit: Zeugnisse von grausamen Praktiken, die sie erlitten haben und die stets religiös begründet werden. Es sind die Stimmen von Frauen, die den Mut fanden, über ihre Erfahrungen zu sprechen – und damit ein System ins Wanken bringen.

*2001 in Teheran. Nach einem Schauspielstudium im Iran, studiert sie derzeit Regie an der Theaterakademie der HfMT Hamburg. Ihre interdisziplinären Arbeiten bewegen sich zwischen Theater, Performance und Installation. Sie steht für künstlerisch wie politisch positionierte, atmosphärisch dichte und präzise entwickelte Formate.
